FAQ

1. What is the itinerary for the Skibus Trips?
We board the buses between 4AM and 5AM (depending on your P/U location). You will arrive at the resort when they open at 9AM, and will depart when they close at 4PM. You will then be home between 8PM and 9PM (depending on your D/O location).

2. What do the buses look like?
All of our buses are white, and say Quality Assurance Travel on the side.

3. What if the weather is bad or stormy?
Our buses travel “snow or shine.” If the highway is closed due to weather conditions, we will try another route to get you there, or we will have to return home. There will be an option to apply your ticket to another travel date. However, it is not our policy to give “Refunds,” this will require a manager’s approval.

4. What should I bring?
Bring your equipment that you need to enjoy a day on the slopes, warm clothes, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, or anything else you may need to make your day enjoyable on and off the bus. Ski or Snowboard bags are recommended to avoid scratches. Label your equipment! Don’t forget your ID and tickets for bus and slopes!

5. Can I leave my belongings on the bus during the day?
Yes, you may leave anything you wish on the bus, however you will NOT have access to it during the day since the bus will be LOCKED and the driver needs to rest/sleep. We do not recommend leaving valuables on the bus. Quality Assurance Travel will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

6. Can I bring my children?
Yes, as long as they are accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older. You may bring a carseat, and you will need to purchase a seat to occupy that space.

7. Can I get on the bus even if I don’t ski or snowboard?
Yes, of course. There are several things you can do at a Ski Resort. You can watch people skiing and boarding, snowball fights, enjoy the food and hot cocoa, and enjoy the majestic scenery of the snow and mountains around you.

8. Does the bus have a restroom on board?
Yes, there is a restroom. When using please remember to put the seat down after use to help reduce the odor from escaping. Please also remember that whatever you do, will stay with you for the rest of the trip, so if you can, its wise to use other available bathrooms.

9. What if I miss the bus at my designated pick up location?
You can try to make it to the next pick up location, however if your pick up was in San Francisco, then you have missed the bus. Quality Assurance Travel will not provide a refund. We have a schedule that we need to adhere to so all passengers can get to the resort on time.

10. What if I miss the bus when it leaves the resort?
The bus will start loading at 4:00 PM, and will depart at 4:15 PM. We have to keep to the schedule, we cannot inconvenience the other passengers. You need to keep track of your time while you are on the mountain. If you happen to be left behind, it is your responsibility to find your own way back home. Quality Assurance Travel holds no responsibility.

11. What if I have a ticket already for SkiBusRide.com, how do I validate it?
Call our office at 408-885-1040, and we will be happy to validate your ticket and make your reservation for you. We can then email you a boarding pass. Please provide both ticket and boarding pass to the driver.

12. Can you accommodate passengers with disabilties?
Yes, we can. Please call us at 408-885-1040, at least 5 days prior to your trip date, so we may accommodate you.

13. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Reservations may not be refunded or cancelled unless company fails to provide agreed service. Quality Assurance Travel reserves the right to cancel the trip due to low enrollment, a refund will be issued only for this reason. If you need to cancel, it must be done in writing two weeks prior to your trip date. You will not be refunded, your reservation will be applied towards your next trip.
